Scott's Branch dominated this past Thursday at the Sertoma Classic as they easily defeated Academic Magnet, 16-0. The much larger Eagles offense simply just lined up and ran at will against a bewildered Raptors defense. Quinten Singleton only carried the ball three times, but managed to pick up 29 yards and score two touchdowns. Kadeem Baxter scored on two 2-point conversion runs.

The Eagles defense proved even more impressive as they sacked Raptors quarterback William Rentz an astounding six times.

The impressive looking Eagles appear ready for next week's season opener when they visit McBee next Friday at 7:30PM.
With a mix of Hammer and Wedge, the Eagles put on an offensive clinic at the Willie Jeffries Classic this past Saturday. Curtis Davis scored on a 56-yard run on the Eagles second play from scrimmage. Davis then answered the electrifying run by rushing for the 2-point conversion. The Scott's Branch offense struck paydirt again later in the quarter as Kadeem Baxter punched it in from 5 yards out. His rush for the conversion would give the Eagles a 16-6 lead. Baxter would score again in the second and final quarter as he weaved his way into the endzone on a 14-yard run. Quinten Singleton's conversion rush would give the Eagles a 24-6 lead. A late score by the opposition did little to darken the mood as Scott's Branch prevailed 24-14.
